Auto-flush functions generally rely more on the toilet’s plumbing design and flush technology than on high supply flow, but stable incoming pressure still matters for dependable actuation.
If you’re on a well system, have a pressure-reducing valve (PRV), or live in a building with variable pressure, check your numbers with a simple hose-bib pressure gauge and confirm the manufacturer’s minimum pressure requirement. Also make sure the shutoff valve is fully open and the supply hose isn’t kinked or undersized—restrictions can mimic “low pressure” even when the home’s PSI is fine.
